Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids (N.I.C.K.) is a 501c3 charity that was founded by a pediatric cancer family who live right here in the area. Our families are all local and available to talk with you. We know what you are going through, because we've been there, too. When our children were in treatment, we found that nothing was as comforting or as hopeful as talking to other people who knew our challenges. We believe the same should be available to ALL families facing pediatric cancer. Knowing a child with cancer brings a lot of uncertainty. We are here to provide hope and support for anyone affected by pediatric cancer in Northwest Indiana and the surrounding areas.”

The mission of The Compassionate Friends: When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.

To alleviate hunger by acquiring and distributing food to people in need, promoting solutions that advance self-sufficiency and hunger relief, and leading our region in the fight against hunger.
